Before I became a writer, I was and avid read. I lost count at 400 books. (Thanks to the invention of the eReader.) Over the years, I have found books I hate, books I like, and books that I love so much that I read more from the author. Below is a group of authors whose hard work and great imagination have touched my heart, made me laugh or made me cry.

I hope you look into these great authors as well. (Click the images to go to their websites)

Books and Authors I enjoy,

and think you might too!

T.I. Lowe

A southern writer and the author of the bestselling books "Lulu's Cafe" and  "GoodByes & Second Chances".

I enjoy her work because she is has a way of writing that invokes emotion with each turn of the page. She is the first writer who has written a character in such a way that I wanted to commit bodily harm. That is a great writer to me.  I highly recommend you check out Lulu's cafe, but all her work is great and worth the read.

"She thinks every great novel should be built on a great character, and in her first series, that character is Camdyn Taylor."

Christina has been not just an author whose work I enjoy, but a great encourager and help in my own writing venture. "Thanks Girl!"

She writes in the first person, which is a breath of fresh air in a world of third person writing, and has a great way of getting you in the character's head. Her Camdyn Series had me laughing on one page and crying the next. Her characters are real, nothing fictional. They could very easily be your next door neighbor.
